I am loving these fallish j.crew accessories and think these three happen to be a lovely trio. Although I have been trying my best to live in the moment, it is hard not to look ahead at my favorite upcoming season, fall. I may or may not already have a fall wish list?!
This pretty little lady has me reconsidering the hundreds and hundreds of dollars my parents spent on my braces. I am absolutely obsessing over the little space in between her two front teeth. Her adorable gap is really doing it for me!
I hope you all had a lovely week! It was nice to be back at work this week, I gladly accomplished a lot! However, my work week is over two days early and I am off again. Back to Chicago! Anna, one of my besties, so generously gave me a ticket to Lollapalooza, which is a huge music festival in Grant Park. So not only am I excited to see some great shows, I am also so thrilled to see Anna! I hope you all have a fun-filled weekend. I feel like summer is going to be through before we know it, so enjoy the heat!

Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted a pair of glasses. I'm assuming it's because I never needed them. I guess they're right when they say, "You always want what you can't have." I know the moment my doctor tells me that I have failed my eye exam I will be up in arms and cursing explaining to him that "there must be a mistake, I have always had 20/20 vision." However, while my vision is as good as good can be, it is fun to day dream about wearing glasses. Oversized black frames always get me! These chic/nerdy spectacles really pin the tail on the donkey! 
My friend, Johnny, recently took a trip to Kenya this summer and I cannot stop staring at his pictures he posted. They are absolutely magnificent! I have really had the travel bug lately, not necessarily for an African Safari, but these pictures have me reweighing my options. I cannot even imagine being so close to such enormous creatures that to me seem like characters I only get to experience while watching Jumanji. What a sight to see! Lions, and tigers, and giraffes, oh my!
