As the last of the cold days are upon us (cross your fingers) I am looking forward to leaving my house without a jacket or scarf. Regardless of the season, I will always have a deep love for old rugged boots, flannel hats, and thick winter coats. Even though I am "itching" to get out of my winter accessories I wanted to share my final thoughts on this long bundled-up winter season we have had. Tah-tah warm woolly mittens... to my basement you go!
I sit at a desk for an extended period of time, which has taken some getting used to, but I'm getting there. I do not think sitting in a chair behind a computer all day would be nearly as bad and possibly even a dream come true if this were my set up!

I wouldn't... I'd pick 'em all! Don't be fooled, this would only occur in my fairy tail world. In reality I couldn't afford any, but it's fun to make believe every once in awhile, wouldn't you agree?

I've got a crush. I love everything about Rowie: her name, her hair, her boots, her jewels, her smile, her casual look, etc., etc.
Just purchased one of these Corter Leather "For Japan" bracelets. Each bracelet is $20 and 100% of the proceeds go to Red Cross towards relief efforts in Japan. At this time, I feel it's the least I can do. Do what you can... buy a bracelet.

A red poppy bouquet + a nontraditional cake + a chic, vintage wedding dress = my ideal wedding (plus good friends & family, homemade family-style pasta dishes, a band that doesn't stop, and and a few glasses of Italian red wine)
This past weekend JB and I took a little trip to the IMA. The building itself is absolutely beautiful; huge, with large open areas, white walls, and gorgeous hardwood floors. I also found some pretty cool art! Above are my favorite pieces. I always find myself more attracted to modern art, as opposed to "ancient art." As you can probably tell from my terms and lingo, I am not that art-educated, but I am learning. That is with the help of JB who is an art major. Lesson #1, no cameras allowed, oops.
Happy Birthday to My little Green Clutch. She turns one today, can you believe it! I have had such a wonderful time with her this past year! She has been such a great addition to my small family of one! Now it's just she and I. She is there for me everyday and has allowed me to best utilize my creative juices. She allows me to say whatever I want, whenever I want, about whomever or whatever I want without any judgement and I love her for that. Thanks for everything My little Green Clutch. Can't wait to see what else I can fill you with!

These fab suits would be the cherry on my make-believe cake of a getaway, would they not? Maybe even better paired with an extra large margarita in a sugar rimmed chilled glass? Oh and topped with a slice of pineapple? I am soo good at dreaming... it's actually frightening!
