My little Green Clutch

The start of my blog was a perfect excuse to begin my very own collection of little green clutches. You may not believe me when I tell you, but I only speak the truth... it has taken me almost an entire year to find one little green clutch I loved. Can you guess who this chic classic clutch is by? I'll give you a hint, it starts with J and ends with crew. For only $325 this little green clutch can and maybe someday (when I'm filthy rich and green all over) will become the perfect mascot for my blog. For now, this picture must sufice.

This work week has been absolutely insane. Deadlines, meeting after meeting, and endless hours of staring at the computer. I am in serious need of this chair. I would take it exactly how it is (minus the boxes), in a big open room with nothing or no one else around it. My mind needs a mental break. I must promise myself to sit in this chair for at least one hour with no distractions, just me in the chair!

Dear, Dear, Dear

Dear New Kate Spade Wallet,
I cannot believe I found you and how lucky am I you were on sale! I had so much fun opening you up! It had been awhile since I treated myself. Your mustard yellow color is perfection! I am sorry for stuffing you so full, but I gotta wear you in somehow.
Greedily,
Bang for My Buck

Dear Spring Clothing,
Your are a temptress beyond belief, wowza. Your timing is terrible. Why do you always have to show up when it's still freezing outside. You are officially the biggest tease in town.
Warmly,
Totally Tempted

Dear Legs,
When do you think you will be ready to run again? I know I have let you rest for almost a year, but I am starting to get anxious. Maybe you will just take off one of these days? I need a little push. K, thanks!
Hope to see you soon,
Lazy Lu

Greetings

from the classically candid!

Pat the Bride

I was checking out at Border's the other day and while standing in line I saw this book. I about flipped! Anyone familiar with Pat the Bunny? I read that book like it was my job when I was a youngin'. For those of you unfamiliar with Pat the Bunny, it is a hands-on book, allowing you to pet Pat's fur, along with many other hands-on activities a kid would greatly enjoy. Anyway, how hilarious is Pat the Bride? You can zip up her dress and do many other hands-on activities, big girls would enjoy! A great gift idea for all the Pat's you may know!

Winslows Home

Winslows Home is one of the places I miss most about Saint Louis. It is one of those places that will always give me a sense of home, for several different reasons! Winslows is a family owned New American General Store located just west of the Loop off Delmar. Homemade breakfast, lunch, and supper, eco-friendly kitchen essentials, fresh produce grown on Winslow's farm, local and organic groceries, sweet and savory baked goods, and much, much more... Winslows has just about anything you could ever imagine! For all of you who don't live in Saint Louis, I apologize. And for all you (St.) Lunatics, take complete advantage!

P.S. Their adorable logo was designed by the oh-so talented, Cheree Berry!
